The Los Angeles Black Worker Center is rallying to raise $50,000 to birth the Black Workers' Fight Back Fund 

Despite accounting for just one-seventh of the national population, Black workers are three times as likely to be exposed to the coronavirus in addition to accounting for 30% of all Covid related hospitalizations and deaths. Together, we have the power to create real change and are asking for a $30 donation to #HealBlackFutures because now is the time to fight back.

In the past, your contributions have funded workforce development placing members in life-changing jobs, leadership development to empower members to advocate for issues that directly impact their lives, and policy creation protecting Black workers from systemic discrimination. Now, we are calling on you to fight for our lives today so that we may heal our futures tomorrow. 

Let's envision a world in which the equity developed around Black life spills over into Black work. Our resilience is unstoppable. We all have a role to play and your donation contributes to developing a long-term, transformative agenda.
